Spotlight fixture: die-cast, aluminum with neoprene gasket and tempered glass lens finished in matte black thermoset powder-coat. The lamp is a European MR-16 type bi-pin with a bonded glass cover in the appropriate wattage (10-35w) and beam pattern (very narrow spot to wide flood). Mounting is on a PVC stake with threaded cap and stainless steel locking screws. Adjustment range is 360 degrees horizontal and 120 degrees vertical. The lens housing includes a short shroud for glare control. An alternate mounting canopy is utilized for tree or surface applications.
Floodlight fixture: identical construction (slightly larger) with a wider beam, supplied with 10w-50w bi-pin halogen lamp or Xenon.
In-ground fixture: single piece compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester color impregnated black composite housing with tempered clear convex lens and silicone rubber gasket. A stainless steel internal gimbal allows up to 15 degrees of lamp tilt. Available with or without integral shroud depending on necessity. Bi-pin porcelain socket accepts 20 watt MR-16 lamp (an optional larger fixture will accommodate up to 75 watt halogen lamp) in all beam patterns. In-ground fixtures are buried so that the lens is level with the ground surface.
Pathlight fixtures: 12 different types in solid copper with custom brass wedge base socket for 5 to 20 watt xenon lamps.
Low voltage cable: black, virgin vinyl sheathed 10 gauge 2 conductor stranded copper wire with UV, fungus, bacteria and moisture inhibitors for placing under turf or mulch. Imprinted with a footage counter for accurate design and billing.
Integrated light control: shall be a 42 event electronic time clock in conjunction with a photocontrol. Lights will turn ON at dusk and OFF at a pre-set time. The clock must have a minimum 10-day memory in case of power interruption. The electronic clock must be pre-programmed for leap-year adjustment and automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) changeover on the official day and time until the year 2079. No user setting or calibration shall be required.
Low voltage lighting components shall be UL listed and comply with all relevant electrical codes.
Performance: the lighting system shall be tested using a volt meter that reads to 1/100th of a volt; testing to be done with all lamps operating; the maximum voltage shall be 12 volts; the deviation from fixture to fixture shall be less than 10% so that the apparent brightness of the lamps shall be uniform throughout the system.
Warranty: A two-year unconditional warranty shall apply to all components and workmanship. On light controlled systems, the warranty shall cover all halogen and xenon lamps, which shall be replaced without charge for materials or labor if they fail during the two-year warranty period.
Service: After expiration of the two-year warranty, the company shall propose a maintenance agreement for additional two-year periods; this shall extend the original warranty. The cost basis shall be number of fixtures in the system and replacement.
